This beautiful shoot was the result of a conversation I had with Crystal from Crystal Genes Photography about how cool it would be to do bridal portraits in the snow. This got the wheels turing, and Crystal found a dress and so we headed out to the mountains in TN to find us some snow! There wasn’t an abundance of it, but we did managed to find some for the shoot. And of course, because this is how my luck goes, it started to snow like CRAZY once we had wrapped up for the day and were trying to drive back home. It took about an hour longer than it should have because of all the snow, but we did make it home safe and sound. It was a lot of fun, and I think we got some super cool shots! Thanks again to Crystal for volunteering to brave the cold air in a sleeveless wedding dress! Doesn’t she look awesome!?

In case you were wondering, yes, that bouquet is made from kale and purple carnations. This shoot had a tight budget, so we used what we could find at the local grocery store! :)
